Diesel generator rental across India
80+ sets, 5–1250 kVA, working right now in warehouses, plants, banks and hospitals across 20+ cities. Rented with maintenance inside — not just a machine on a truck.
What you get
A rental from Power Solutions is a working power plant with an SLA — not equipment drop-off. The commercial terms live in the work order, in writing, before the truck moves.
- Silent, CPCB-compliant sets — Cummins-led, multi-brand fleet
- Delivery, positioning, cabling and commissioning
- B-check maintenance every 250–300 running hours, included
- 4–6 hour breakdown response, zone-escalated to the director
- Standby set if downtime exceeds 24 hours — on newer work orders
- AMF auto-start panels; operators available where required

How it works
- 1
Tell us the load
kVA if you know it — connected equipment if you don’t. We size it free, for starting current, not just running load.
- 2
Work order in writing
Rent, term, deposit, SLA, fuel scope and B-check cadence — every commercial term on paper before dispatch.
- 3
Delivered & commissioned
Positioned, cabled, load-tested and handed over live — typically 24–72 hours inside our deployed cities.
- 4
Maintained while it runs
B-checks every 250–300 hours included. Breakdown response in 4–6 hours. On newer work orders, a standby set if down beyond 24 hours.
The clause competitors don't put in writing
Down more than 24 hours? Newer work orders put a standby set on site at our cost.
We put that in writing because a rental that isn't running isn't a rental. It is why logistics networks keep 15+ cities of hubs on our fleet.
Rental, answered
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum rental period?
Billing is monthly. Long-term deployments typically run 12-month terms with a lock-in of six to twelve months and one month’s notice; short-term hire for shutdowns, events or commissioning is quoted case by case, subject to fleet availability.
What is included in the rent?
The acoustic-enclosed DG set, delivery and positioning, commissioning, and scheduled B-check maintenance every 250–300 running hours at no extra cost. Diesel, DEF, consumables at abnormal load, and statutory approvals sit in the hirer’s scope unless the work order says otherwise.
Who supplies the diesel?
The hirer, in the standard structure — fuel stays in your custody and control, which keeps billing clean. Power Solutions can quote a fuel-inclusive arrangement for short deployments where that is operationally simpler.
What happens when a rented DG set breaks down?
Breakdown response is typically 4–6 hours through a zone-wise service network that escalates to the director. On newer work orders, if downtime exceeds 24 hours Power Solutions places a standby DG set on site at its own cost.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes — typically two months’ rent, refundable at contract close after reconciliation. GST at 18% applies to DG rental under SAC 997319.
Can I get a CPCB IV+ compliant set on rent?
Yes. The fleet is transitioning to CPCB IV+ and compliant units are available at a premium over legacy CPCB II sets. If your site sits in an NCR or critically-polluted zone where enforcement is active, say so in the enquiry — it decides which units qualify.
How fast can a set reach my site?
Typically 24–72 hours from work-order confirmation for ratings up to 250 kVA in cities where the fleet is deployed — Pune, Mumbai, Bhiwandi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Nagpur and other hubs. Larger ratings and new cities are scheduled against transport.
Do you provide an operator?
Sets run unmanned on AMF panels as standard. A trained operator can be provided for manned sites, metro-city night operations, or where your safety rules require one — priced into the work order.
