What does turnkey mean in a DG installation?
One contract from bare site to running power: the genset, civil foundation, acoustic and exhaust structures, fuel systems, LT panels and cabling, statutory-compliant stack height, testing and commissioning — delivered by one accountable team instead of four subcontractors.
How tall can you build exhaust stacks?
Structural exhaust stacks to 30 metres are a proven scope — built three times over for the Reserve Bank of India at Belapur, Kharghar and Nagpur, and for Coca-Cola bottling and manufacturing plants, complete with support structures, guy systems, aviation lamps and lightning arrestors.
Can you synchronise new gensets with existing sets?
Yes — including across brands. A 1500 kVA set was synchronised with existing 1250 and 500 kVA units at a Coca-Cola bottling plant in Jabalpur, and a new 1010 kVA Cummins with existing CAT sets at Weikfield Foods, using synchronising/PCC panels with Woodward or equivalent controllers.
What is included in the exhaust scope?
MS B-class piping, rock-wool insulation with aluminium cladding, residential-grade silencers, steel bellows, hanger and support structures, painting and fuel piping — priced per metre and per set in the BOQ, the same structure used on RBI and bottling-plant jobs. On V-engine sets from about 1000 kVA, the scope covers both banks: two runs, two silencers, and the fabricated Y-joint into a common pipe sized to the rating — 14 inch at 1000 kVA up to 18 inch at 2000 kVA.
Do you handle the civil and fabrication work too?
Yes — foundations and grouting, canopy waterproofing, fuel tank shades, pipe laying and fabrication, panel shifting. Power Solutions self-performs or directly manages this scope, so the schedule has one owner.
Who handles statutory compliance for the installation?
The installation is engineered to the applicable CPCB/MoEF norms — stack height for the rating, acoustic treatment to 75 dBA, CPCB-compliant silencers — with the documentation handed over statutory-ready. Consent-to-operate filings remain the occupier’s, with our paperwork behind them.
