What does a 62.5 kVA generator run?
A 62.5 kVA (50 kW) set is the classic SME rating: a full bank branch including the server room, a quick-commerce dark store with walk-in chillers, or a small factory with one or two 10–15 HP machines. It remains India’s most rented mid-small rating because it covers most single-premises commercial loads with margin.
Can I still rent a CPCB II 62.5 kVA set?
Yes. CPCB IV+ governs the sale of new gensets — existing CPCB II sets like the C62.5D5P remain legal to operate and rent in most states, subject to state pollution-board conditions (the NCR and state RECD mandates such as Maharashtra’s are the exceptions — we advise on your state’s position as part of deployment). Where your consent conditions require CPCB IV+, we deploy a IV+ set instead.
How is a 62.5 kVA rental set delivered and installed?
The C62.5D5P travels on a light commercial vehicle — the enclosure is 3.0 m long and weighs about 1,484 kg wet — so most sites need only a level hardstand and cable route, no crane. Delivery, positioning, commissioning and scheduled B-checks every 250–300 running hours are included in the rental.
