A distribution hub at sort time — conveyors, dock levellers and high-bay LED lighting all at once.
What it powers
A distribution hub at sort time — conveyors, dock levellers and high-bay LED lighting all at once.
An injection-moulding shop with two mid-tonnage machines cycling against the clock.
A commercial complex's lifts, fire systems and common-area HVAC on one standby set.
Size for starting current, not running load — direct-on-line motor starting draws six to seven times full-load current. Send us your load list and we size it free of charge.

Frequently asked questions
What does a 160 kVA generator run?
A 160 kVA (128 kW) set runs a distribution hub’s conveyors, dock levellers and high-bay lighting together, an injection-moulding shop with two machines cycling, or a commercial complex’s lifts and fire systems. At 415 V it delivers 223 A — enough to start a 40 HP motor direct-on-line with the rest of the load live.
Does the 160 kVA CPCB IV+ set use DEF (AdBlue)?
Yes. The CI 160D5P meets CPCB IV+ with SCR after-treatment using AUS 32 (DEF) per ISO 22241, fed from a 60 litre on-board tank. On rentals we manage DEF top-ups as part of scheduled service; on owned sets we train your operator on consumption and quality — wrong or diluted DEF is a warrantable failure.
What does site readiness look like for a 160 kVA DG set?
Plan for an HMV entry and a firm, level hardstand: the CI 160D5P’s enclosure is 4.0 m long and about 3,025 kg wet, offloaded by crane or forklift depending on access. We survey the site before dispatch, and delivery, commissioning and scheduled B-checks are included in the rental.
