The brief
A 2000 kVA Cummins set at Supreme Industries’ Jalgaon plant needed its exhaust carried to full statutory height. Contracted through AG Corporation, the 30-metre column was specified welded rather than bolted — better fatigue behaviour, and no torque audits to schedule for the life of the stack. Fabrication and erection ran to our standard 45-day schedule, sequenced through the 2025 monsoon with every lift planned around a plastics plant that never stopped running.
What made it hard
- Welded connections specified over bolted — every splice a QA weld, not a torque check

- A running plastics plant below — crane lifts planned into night and low-activity windows
What we did
- 1Structural steel supplied to site and fabricated into the 30 m column
