The brief
A global auto-component manufacturer shifted its own 2000 kVA DG set to its Chakan plant — and needed the exhaust infrastructure that makes a machine of that class compliant at its new home. Power Solutions was contracted for the 30-metre stack: engineering, fabrication, erection and statutory fittings, delivered around a running plant.
What made it hard
- A 2000 kVA class machine — exhaust at industrial scale, engineered to statutory height
- The set was the plant’s own, relocated from another site — the stack had to fit an existing machine, not a new supply
- Fabrication and erection around a running plant’s operations and safety protocols
What we did
- 130-metre structural exhaust stack engineered, fabricated and erected
- 2Supports and statutory fittings, integrated with the relocated 2000 kVA set
