Above 800 kW
Engines above 800 kW sit outside CPCB IV+ under the MoEFCC's separate standards — with their own stack-height regime (30-metre class structures), acoustic treatment engineered per site rather than a factory canopy, and consent conditions that decide the installation. We have delivered exactly this — six 1010 kVA sets with three 30 m stacks for the Reserve Bank of India — and the installation engineering is part of the offer, not an afterthought.

The C2750D5B is standby-rated — 2750 kVA for varying load during interruption of a reliable utility, maximum 500 hours a year per ISO 8528, as the Cummins India rating chart defines it. A prime-rated 2750 kVA exists as a different, larger machine (the C3000D5 on the QSK78-G9 engine) — if your duty is prime, that is a separate conversation we can also have.
Where do the specifications on this page come from?
Two Cummins documents, read together: the Cummins India Product Rating chart Rev.14 (10-2020) for the configuration — QSK60-G22 engine, 3152 BHP, LVSI804X alternator frame, PC3.3 controller at 415 V, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM — and Cummins specification sheet S-6524 (12/20) for the physical data. What does a 2750 kVA genset installation involve?
Everything above 800 kW brings its own regime: the MoEFCC’s separate large-engine emission standards, an engineered exhaust stack under the >800 kW rule (maximum of 14×Q^0.3, building plus 6 m, or 30 m), site-designed acoustic treatment instead of a factory canopy, and a radiator shipped loose for site erection. The installation engineering — foundations, cooling, stack, cabling, panels — is part of our turnkey scope.
